The GDEIB is an assessment tool that helps departments/offices improve equity, diversity, inclusion, and accessibility (EDIA) in the workplace. It measures success based on key EDIA benchmarks and helps identify where more work is needed. The findings from this assessment will help your department/office to develop a strong EDIA Action Plan.
Your participation is important. The information collected will be used to produce government-wide and department-level results that highlight strengths, identify areas for improvement, and support ongoing EDIA planning.
The assessment takes approximately 25 minutes to complete and will be available until March 4th, 2026. Your progress will be displayed at the top of the page. Because no personal information is collected to save your progress, the assessment must be completed in a single session to maintain anonymity. For example, if you close your browser halfway through, your answers will not be stored and you will need to start over.
